Trek Options:

  • AM/Morning Bite: Meet early and be on the water by sunrise, fishing until about 11:30 am.
  • PM/Late Afternoon & Evening Bite: Meet in the early afternoon and fish until sunset.
  • Full Day Treks: Spend a full day fishing with sessions in both the morning and afternoon.
  • Multi-Day Treks: Spread your adventure across 1, 2, or 3 days (call for pricing).

Group Size: One to four people.

What Should You Do If You Encounter A Fishing Boat While Out In Your Vessel
  • Half-Day Trek (AM or PM):
    • $195 for one adult (single person price).
    • $150 for kids aged 17 and under, with an adult.
    • Group sizes of up to 4 participants.
    • Duration: 4-5 hours.
  • Full-Day Trek:
    • $390 for one adult (single person price – age 18 and older).
    • $300 for kids aged 17 and under, must be accompanied by an adult.
    • Group sizes of up to 4 participants.
    • Duration: 8-9 hours, divided into two sessions (AM & PM).

Fishing Locations

We fish in remote and diverse areas, offering a variety of experiences:

  • AEP ReCreation Lands: Spanning Muskingum, Noble, Guernsey, and Morgan counties with 60,000 acres and over 300 lakes.
  • Woodbury Wildlife Area: Located in Coshocton County with 19,000 acres and over 40 lakes.
  • Tri Valley Recreation Area: Covering Muskingum and Coshocton counties with 15,000 acres and over 60 lakes.
  • Rose Lake at Hocking Hills State Park: Situated in the heart of the Old Man’s Cave section, with beautiful scenery and a half-mile walk to the lake.

What’s Included

Our complete packages include everything you’ll need:

  • Guide, belly boat, chest waders, fins, rod & reel, and tackle.
  • Participants can bring their own chest waders, rods, and tackle if preferred. Please inform us when making your booking.

Step-by-Step Guide

  • Location Selection: We’ll choose a location based on the season, your group’s objectives, and schedule.
  • Meet and Drive: We’ll meet at a predetermined location, usually a crossroads of a state route, and drive a short distance to the fishing area.
  • Walk to the Lake: Choose from a short walk (park and fish) to longer walks of up to fifteen minutes or more. The walk duration is up to you.
  • Orientation: Upon arrival at the lake, we’ll provide an orientation on belly boating and discuss how to approach the lake.
  • Get Ready: You’ll sit 6 inches above the water on a comfortable cushion seat, wear fins over your booted waders, and stay warm and dry from the knees down.
  • Safety Gear: Each belly boat includes four flotation devices. Optional life preservers are available for adults, and children must wear a PFD at all times.
  • Gear Storage: Our belly boats come with backpack straps, zippered gear pockets, lap nets, and carry-all pockets for your convenience.
  • Provided Equipment: We provide the belly boat and fins for everyone. If needed, we also have extra chest waders, rods, and tackle.
  • Guide Assistance: Your guide will provide as much or as little instruction and assistance as you prefer.
  • Skill Levels: We accommodate all skill levels, from beginners to experienced anglers, helping everyone understand local techniques and lake-specific fishing strategies.
